Post 1

The concepts during the past week that were covered were quite simple. However, the defence mechanisms are easily confusable with each other. But otherwise, not a difficult concept to grasp after I got down the distinct differences between some of them (like with denial and rationalization and deciding whether or not there was an excuse made). Speaking of theories, Sigmund Freud doesn't necessarily have the most normal ones. The Id, Ego, & Superego concept makes the most sense out of all the theories of his that we have learned to date mainly because there isn't many facts or even a solid base for them like the psycho-sexual stage theory. Honestly, how could anyone, especially a coke-head, discover the correlation between any of behaviors and developmental conditions that the theory mentions?
